At The Little Seekers School, the Nursery class, proudly named after the great scientist C.V. Raman, reflects the spirit of curiosity, exploration, and discovery that he exemplified. Tessy Thomas is a renowned Indian aerospace engineer and scientist popularly known as the “Missile Woman of India.” She works with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and has played a major role in the development of India’s long-range ballistic missiles. Tessy Thomas served as the Project Director for the Agni-IV missile and contributed significantly to the development of the Agni-V missile, which strengthened India’s defense capabilities. She worked closely with former Indian President and scientist A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. Her achievements and leadership in defense research are a major inspiration for women pursuing careers in science and engineering.
